What prop are you running on the 300?
Mid to high 80's is a good guess. I drove a 2200 with a 250 Pro XS to 81.

I ask becasue I have the new boat itch, not becasue I am trying to get my Sterling set up right. I want a 300XS, never had one and want to try one.
That right there eliminates a lot of boat choices, Sterling is one of the exceptions.
We just took a 250 EFI off a buddies Champion 206 and put a 300XS on it and WOW, what a huge difference. Amazing motor.
