performance difference between the 2100 and 2200?

I know the boat's hull weight is a 50 pound difference... and the length is roughly a foot and a couple inches.... how much difference does that create on top end numbers. i know the 2200 is to have the upper hand in rough water capability.... but how big are the differences really between the two in performance numbers?

    Tyler,
I cant speak for the 2100's but I ran this yesterday morning with another BBC member (Dan Duprez). Water was 48 degrees, air temps were 50 degrees. Unfortunately, it was VERY windy (20-30 mph). I think i could have run to 83 if it wasn't so windy. I was able to maintain 15-18 lbs of WP so i could have probably come up on the plate a little but just had too much stuff going on with trying to drive into the winds...i ran very light, no tackle, solo, 15-20 gallons of fuel. I never run this light so this top speed might be a bit high. This is the fastes i've run this rig in almost 4 years of owning it. I was able to run 82 consistently when the wind allowed me to. Dan ran his Bullet 21XDC/250XB to 82.6 as well with my spare Bravo. For what it's worth, Mark Croxton did an unbelievable job building these Bravo's. The holeshot and mid were fantastic. Not bad for a 1,750 lb lead sled! Some specs:

    2003 Gambler 2200
    2002 Merc 250 XB
    Bob's 10" Hydraulic (plus 2" spacer)
    Croxton Bravo1
    82.7@ 6,200 rpm 15-18 lbs of WP

Duie is getting ready to try a few more props, everything we have run has been too small. Were gonna fix that at the get together on Buggs in Dec.

    Yep,
Looking forward to trying Mike's 28. So far, with the 27 Bravo I'm hitting 72 and change. Full tourny load, 3/4 to full fuel tank, and one live well full. Can run 70-72 all day long, just have to watch the speed limiter. A bigger prop should help.

Tyler, the 2200 is normally about 1-2 mph slower than the 2100.
