Was wondering if anyone could tell me, with a bit of detail, where the water pressure hose connects to on a 2006 150 DI E150FPLSDR
Can't seem to find it, the picture in the manual makes no sense, and i figured out its the same picture in the manual for like the last 3 or 4 years.
Really appreciate any help!
Top right beside the rectifier pocket, just forward of the head gasket mating area.
Elgin, would it be a huge nuisance if you could circle in this picture where it is, or atleast in the vacinity?
This is not my motor, im at University at the moment so i cant take a picture of mine, but i found this picture of an 06' DI saltwater, figure its exactly the same.
Black panel on the side is the PDP, above it is the solenoid, behind the solenoid the round black thing with the two hoses, one top, one bottom is the exhaust back pressure housing, look straight down on the block in that area you will see a hex brass looking plug, remove it and that is the water pressure fitting hole, install the 90 degree nipple from the BRP water pressure kit.
Look on the exhaust bubble (between the cylinder heads) at the back of the engine.

That is where i had originally looked, there was a plug there in the middle of it. Took a picture and asked someone if that was it, and they said they didnt think it was?

My dad looked, and thinks he found the area. Theres already a hose attached to it, and it goes down to almost the bottom of the engine and goes into another fitting, both brass fittings. How exactly do i hook the water pressure up to that?
Sorry Cody, Sportwin is correct, its the plug on the exhaust hump on the back of the motor, The location I pointed out was for the early DI's.
Hahahha CRAP! lol.
That is the bloody thing that i thought it was for the last month. I had 2 people tell me that wasnt it, but for the life of us me and my dad could not find another place that even looked remotely close to that.
