    NEW GAMBLER PROJECT

putting the finishing touches on my "knightrider" as called by a buddy of mine after he first laid eyes on it....he says it looks like it should drive itself...
its a 2003 Outlaw that I got as a "theft recovery"...
boat was completely gutted, so i get to take my time putting all new goodies back in place...
    So FAR...
    09 Motorguide Digital 24V 70lb....
    Humminbird Matrix 17 under dash
    Humminbird 525 up front...
    Lowrance LCF1440 in dash...
Hydra Jac 12" hydraulic Jack Plate...
New Set of EVERSTART MAX batteries...
O and how could i forget...since i just had my 225 mercury EFI rebuilt in July, seems to be a good match up....225 on a 1900 Outlaw...SCARY...

Still trying to figure this whole shutterfly thing out..anyone have any better solutions for adding a pic...HELP...

Last thing on list to do is:
replace the dash on drivers side...carbon fiber is unavailable from Gambler...
Converting to woodgrain is last option...HELP/ideas... /

PICS TO COME SOON AS I CAN FIGURE IT OUT>>>4 year degree from ECU not enough...

Good lookin' boat. It's going to be a handful with that 3.0 on the back.

Love the colors. I think light grey, charcoal or red carpet would rock in that boat.

Wow, looks great. As for the dash options, why not make something out of stainless or brushed aluminum? I'm with ya, NO WOODGRAIN!!

cover up the other ones http://www.rvinyl.com/carbonfibervinyl.htm they make different grades, color tones etc. The prices dont seem real bad either and it beats waiting for..............well i guess it just beats waiting.

Did you ask Gambler for contact numbers for the supplier of the dash panels?

Yea, just like the person that did upholstery for Gambler.

By the way, SHE still does upholstery work.

    Re: NEW GAMBLER PROJECT (JAZII)

Ok now. I have clarified in previous posts. It's not that they have closed, its that they won't return calls. I left 2 messages in two days and I sat with Bob and Dale one day and Bob called the president on his phone. He answered and was in a "food line" we have not gotten anywhere since. I know,,,, he could have stepped aside and spoken, but we are trying to be diplomatic. If we get the molds back and find someone else it could be a couple of months, which may end up happening, but before I let you all loose on them we are trying to get something done without rocking the boat. This weekend I learned our dealer and another manufacturer is having the same problem. I want to get them for you. I even told someone this weekend he ought to put his up for bid.

Even though there is a lot going on it is not forgotten. One step at a time. We resolved windshields for a 97 209 last week and will have some in stock. Baby steps,,,, baby steps....
