I think this is a fish...

I think the pic below is a fish that I pinged continuously, and that is why it is so stretched out... moving 0.2mph or less in the picture

mediocre picture at best.. I admit...

but that is sitting still (adds to the "grainy" image)

stick around awhile and look at some of the images posted on here... youll be convinced sooner or later

Its not a fish. Appears to be a bottom contour that you were picking up.
I fish better with a lit cigarette; some people fish better with talent.

Not trying to start a tussle here... But 100% positive it is not bottom contour... Been fishing this family pond for over 25 years now.. Know it and all its contours like my own home

I know the modern units are capable of some great images, I have a hummingbird 1199. I'm just saying I'm not impressed with the side imaging or so called so imaging.

You're like me in that you haven't learned how to fine tune and interpret it.

As tommy said, get the unit set up correctly and it will change you mind.... Here is a decent shot I took... Still seen better, but still a good detailed shot...... Minus all the water turbulence, and it would be even better

I've played with mine for long time still don't have it dialed in. Wish there was some seminars to help us newbs. I can see trees and such if I lower the range to like 30ft
