Boat wont turn over

Out pre-fishing and she ran great. Next weekend I drop her in the water and the boat wont start. I have a 150 97' FICHT Model # E150ILEUC Serial G C4313794.

I tried to get a jump start on the fly and it would take it, went home and load tested the battery and it is fine. The kill switch is on, the fuel pump is running, she spins but I do not hear it wanting to turn over. Any thoughts on this item?

If I understand you right, then the starter drive is slipping. The replacement is much heavier duty and I think it comes with a new reinforced plastic flywheel cover to keep the drive in-line while cranking.
