    It's wireless going from the sender to the monitor. The camera attaches to the licenses plate and has "wedges" on the screws where you can point it down at the angle needed. wiring from the camera goes to the sender. I took the left light out, connected the sender to the backup light wiring and zip tied it out of the way, then reinstalled the light. On the dash, find a convenient place for the monitor and it plugs into the accessory plug with an accessory type plug. Took me a couple of hours, mainly cause I was meticulous as to where/how the monitor was mounted.
