Just to add my 2 cents I think you would be a little happier if you were running a 23p Tempest vs the 21. Probably get a little more top end and I doubt you would suffer any on holeshot.

That is a great boat and a great motor. I have the same rig with the same motor only the merc version. I run a 25 pitch trophy and spin it to about 6500 rpms at about 3 inches below the pad. Seriously handles like a sports car. Post any questions you have, this is a great place for answers.

That sounds sweet. I hate not knowing what I'm talking about and I still just don't know these hulls. That's why I was asking about Tempests in my other thread. The SuperMags usually prefer a smaller diameter prop. They are not known for guts on the bottom end. I always ran a Trophy, Mazco HP4, TR04 type prop if I was running a TM lower. They get going easier than a Tempest. I just don't know how they do on Champs. Your post is good to hear.
