My fuel gauge just stopped work, its reading empty, so I start looking for a replacement and then I'm asked if I was sure it was the guage and not the sending unit. So I used a jumper wire and jumped the pink and black wires to the guage and when I did this the guage needle jumped, so I was told that this indicated a bad sending unit, so I had sending unit overnighted from Florida it got here today, I get home install the sending unit hook the two wires for the sending unit and I hit the key and the needle is still reading empty!!So what did I miss? or is it the guage?? HELP!!
Thanks
