    Jackplate on 190 F&S

Is it worth the hassle to put a jackplate on a 190 fish&ski, got one I could put on but looks like its going to be a little bit of a job

It depends on what you are looking for. More speed?

    What year is your F&S?

Hang on. Pat Goff will be along to help here. I guess it will depend on what you mean by "more". What brand and size plate do you have available?

10" would be more than I'd like, and if you don't have hydraulic steering it will require replacing steering cables also.

I'd find someone to swap a 6" for that ten and head down the road.
