Picked up a coleman perch boat at Dick's. clearance sale down from $499 sold at $399. Used coupon also. Picked up the prowler trolling motor from bass pro (switched it to front mount) and away I went. I'm 250lbs and the boat went easily into my truck bed then to Lime Lake NY. sitting or standing all went well. Just with wind it pushes the boat around, and i'm used to foot control trolling motor not reaching over to use handle. All in all a great small lake and pond purchase.

I bought a clearance boat at Dick's, too. I bought the Coleman Crawdad style. I hate to tell you what I paid for mine on clearance.......regular price was $699. With tax out the door I paid $200.25
I took it out this past weekend and love it.
One thing you might consider on the trolling motor. Buy yourself a handle extender. You'll be able to sit more in the center of the boat.

I used a thin wall pvc plastic pipe to make the extention for the handle on my trolling motor and installed a "big foot" switch on the floor to turn the motor on and off with. Works good. Here is a pic of my set up. Most of the time I don't use/take the gas motor when I fish out of the Crawdad, but it's nice to have if I am on the river or larger bodys of water.
2 HP Evinrude with built in tank and a 28 lb TM on the front.
