I have a 178 pro sport and I can only get about 2 inches of water in the live well. i"ve tried opening and closing the valve and still no more than about 2 inches of water. I blew some compressed air through the holes and they were clear. Any ideas. I don't know alot about these things but I'm tryuing to learn. thanks del

If your hozes are clear than I would suspect the next two things to check are:
Is you pump putting in a good stream of water?
Is your drain plug firmly pressed in? No leaks.
If your going to start replacing parts, I would go with the cheapest first, the drain plugs are pretty cheap and mine are a generatic type available at most outlets.

Other than the suggestions listed above I have a bunch of questions that need answers.
1. Does it pump 2" and then shut down?
2. Does the pump continue to run but no water comes out?
3. Do you have two control switches. (One up front and one on the consol) ?
You answer these questions and we'll take it from there.
