ya, I agree with nosaj2 .my buddy just bought a 190 pro v boat , was not setup from dealer to run WOT and it shouldn't be . We had to raise motor 2" to get proper setup. Now the boat gets on the pad like it should, it will still chime with chop but he's learning how to drive through it.So that said I would start with 1 1/2" below pad that should be close so go up or down 1/4 " at a time.Good luck

Hyd jack plate will help some to get the right setting but it take a lot of seat time at WOT to learn how to drive one.
