Yamaha 200 to 225 conversion????

A buddy of mine has a 2008 P4 with a Yamaha 200 hpdi. He was told the only diffrence in the 200 and 225 is the computer. Is this TRUE? If he changes the computer will it give him the extra 25hp??? Has anyone tried this and if so ' how much gain did you see?? Thanks for any help

Go over to the Yamaha High Performance board in the engines section, he needs to talk to Hydrotec or Simons. If he does it, you need to let us know what the performance improvement is. Mike
