Can anyone tell me the honest answer to his question,
Is the 115 etec a better engine, does it out perform and produce more torque/ hp than the ficht?
is there any proof i can see, like a dyno chart or something? as i am ready to by a new etec, i like the ficht but it did seem to run out of steam at the top end.

All the 115s are gonna run out of steam on the top end. The Etec is a better motor. It was so strong that is they decided not to release the 130 hp etec.
The 115 etec was justed on a Ranger walleye boat in B&WBs magazine. It faired pretty well for being on such a heavy boat.

I thought the 130 wasn't released because they could meet the 3 Star rating they wanted for across the Etec line....
