The Silver Star is a marketing name, there were some 60 degree motors that had a little more get up than the others but most had changes made to slow them down after Mercury cried.........

I've got a 19' Nitro w/ 175 Fastrike that does 65 mph. w/ 4 blade Shooter & no plate. I will be installing a 51/2" CMC plate next week. I can't wait.
