Finally a Flippin' Bite!!

I went all last year and only caught 2 fish Flippin... Figured i'd give it a shot yesterday, i changed from 65# Braid to 20# Flouro & i couldnt be happier! I'm scared i was missing a bunch of bites

Cold in the morning, but the water temp steady rose to a whopping 61!

I only caught two last year on a jig total. I have to be in the debate although I have worked a lot this spring on nothing but flipping and pitching a jig to get better at it. Already caught 8 or 10 in just a couple trips.

You caught two more fish on a jig than I did last year. Tried once this yr and didnt even get a sniff.

if your talking jigs, I don't think I caught a fish on one last year. Unless you count spider jigs.

What do you like about the fluorocarbon over the braid? Other than it being stiffer, and a larger dia than braid?

... I cant really pinpoint what it is about the flouro over braid... I use flouro on other rods, but flipping is all about feeling the bite and i felt everyone

I made the switch to flouro last year. best thing I've ever done. I caught more fish flipping last year than I ever have. I'm still a GO GO GO type of fisherman but I feel a LOT more confident now when I have to slow down.
