The motorcycle shop was packed today

Gas was 3.99 in Evansville when I was over there today. I swung over by the Yamaha dealer to pick up some 2S oil for the scooter when I got done getting told I have dain bramage at the VA.

There were two people waiting on customers as soon as you walked on the door and every model scooter Yamaha makes lined up. No haggling, the guys told me they can't keep bikes in stock. I fear it'll be another summer of newbs getting ran over on bicycles, scooters and crashing motorcycles. Please keep an eye out.

If you are on two wheels of any sort you already know look out for everyone. 4.00 a gallon here already it's going to get ugly this summer.

After my accident a few weeks ago I won't say "I'll never ride again" BUT I will say I surely won't ride as often and probably won't be getting another touring Harley anytime soon,,, the wife still has her sportster in garage ,she hasn't been on it in over a year due to he illness, so it's there if the time comes I feel like riding again,,,I must admit hitting the pavement at 60 mph sure has a way of altering your thinking, I enjoyed the money I saved on gas and parking fees in new York city but now I think I will just pay ,,,,lol

I had a friend of mine seriously injured last year when he hit a mattress that blew off a truck on the highway....Sometimes no matter how careful you are riding a bike can bite you in the a$$...
I gave up Road riding years ago after puting 3 riding buddies in the ground over a 2 year span.. Motorcycle riding and racing was the main focus of my family since I could walk but after that and having my own family I just couldn't do it anymore...I still ride off-road but I don't have to worry about a Buick taking me out in the woods..

I bought a new Mountain Bike this week and have been riding that....Still only ride in the woods though....

+1 ride safe John. I will be riding my Harley Street Glide a little more this year.... Diesel in our area is $4.15. I won't stop doing the things I like because of fuel cost. It'll make it easier to move to east TN because I wont need the additional $4000-5000 in wages for the money we we spend on today's fuel cost traveling back and forth to our vacation home.

$4.15 in Louisville and I am already seeing the miniature donorcycles running around. I used to ride until I realized it was way too dangerous with all the yahoos texting while driving and so forth. Sign your organ donor card if you decide to ride. I sure miss it, but I value being alive more.

    I've went from this

    still stuck on this:

It has two headlights. I've always said I should have bought a Road Glide.

Last year I went to look at 100th Anniversary RG and came home with a different boat instead, you've got a sharp copy!
