I would guess 1-1.5 hrs labour and parts. Any more than $200 and I would do it myself. Look in the john/rude tips section, the link is at the top of the page. It covers it nicely.
Most shops charge 1.5-2.0 hours to replace a water pump kit on a V6.
The 5001594 kit is about $62 and 2 hours @ $70 per makes it a few bucks more than 2 "C notes".

2.0hrs + parts is normal. Our labor rates are much higher up here in NJ.
1.25 hrs. labor and parts (including lower unit lube change) runs about $125-150 in our area.
Just had one done on a 225 ficht, and only cost 107.38 in Oregon. 1 hour @ 70.00 and 37.80 part. It sounds like I got a deal
We are paying $90-100/hr and the parts are usually double the US price.
Dang it, I was going to stay out of this since I hadn't paid anyone to do one in a while, but the last year when I called one shop, they wanted an 1 hour for labor at $70 and I think the kit was $39. They did say if any nuts are frozen, it could add up to another hour.

whatever it cost it is worth it unless you're mechanically inclined...![]()
If your in a salt water area expect a 2 hour bill. Some do take less time but not the norm here. As SEAHORSE said the pump kit is in the 62$ range.

You got a bargan and probobly got just the impeller not the kit. Best I can do it in is 1.5 kit complete no NACLH20, add 2 for those.
