How to Raise Motor With Bad Trim Motor

Need help. I think trim motor went out on my 200 Johnson. Replaced both relays, and still no luck. Now motor is down, and even with manual pressure release screw loosened, I can't raise the motor. Any ideas?

put a jack under the trailer, get it up high enough to get a jack under the lower unit, or put a chain hoist on the lower unit...

Still having trouble--motor lifts only a few inches, then feels like it's catching on something. Had two of us try to lift it, no luck. Jack only lifted the whole rear end--can't get the angle to put pressure outward. Hate to drag it out of the garage---maybe with a 2x6 under the skeg?

Have you backed the manual screw out far enough?? It should back out 5-6 turns and one strong man should be able to lift it. JMHO

Backed it out to the stop. Also tried just a few turns--the same. Pressure released, as the motor went down by itself.
