    If you want the satellite overlay, yes, you will want to buy the Platinum. After a year, to renew Frehest data and SonarCharts with it will cost $99. Just be sure to register the chart in 60 days and do an update so you activate the year of freshest data and download the latest sonarcharts

    I live in Saskatchewan Canada. Are there any maps available fom anyone that I can use with my HDS 8's I can't seem to find anything. I would obviously like to have something with contour lines and the ability to use structure scan overly.

    Thanks Paul. That is what I thought as long as they keep up the 50% program. Just wanted to make sure there was nothing additional that I had missed.
