    I made the jump...FISHING IN A BFL AS A CO-ANGLER!!!

Gonna fish the one in April at Lake Monroe. I've fished Monroe a good bit and know where to catch a few so maybe that'll help, maybe not. I'm just excited to get in the game!

What a great learning experience. You'll get to see so many different techniques, presentations and boat control. You'll take away what your boaters have done right and done wrong. Learn from these sucesses and failures but most of all go have fun. Good luck.

Absolutely true! I started that way and had a blast and learned both what to do and not what to do in many different circumstances. You'll appreciate to folks up front. Be respectful and be prepared for some criticism along the way! Foremost, as Preston said, have a great time!

Take a 5 gallon bucket full of patience, you'll need it!

Also don't stay up until midnight the night before messing with your fishing stuff...a good night's sleep goes a long way in helping keep your mind in the game when it gets slow..........took me forever to break that habit!

Above is some good advise I will add be prepared, respect the boater and his/her boat, "be on time" don't leave your boater who drawed #10 sitting on the bank waiting on you while they are calling out boat #67!
    Good luck and have fun!

I am a boater in the BFL and i learn a lot from co-anglers I dont know and made friendships. Good luck to you. I dont accept gas money from co-angler unless i put him on fish and he places.
