    ETec owners --- safety recall

Got a recall notice from BRP today. Apparently some ETec fuel filters might have been overstressed in pressure testing at factory.

Geez, Louise! Gimme a break. I got the recall letter...... I thought I was doing folks a favor by making the comment..... and then the Forum Police come with snide comments like "I guess that you haven't readn any of the recent posts....".

    What a sanctimonious jerk!

Hmmm. I thought this was the same prior post too but I guess not.

    Don't take it personal.

Most folks when they visit usually look around, listen to whats going on, and introduce themselves. It is the sactimonious jerks who barge into a conversation and start spouting off without even bothering to find out what has been already discussed.

The previous recall E-TEC post was only a few messages down the list when you posted yours. A quick glance at the offerings here at BBC would have shown the post titled "E-TEC safety recall" and saved you the trouble.

I'm sorry I missed it. I'm even sorrier that my gross negligence caused you a need to give me a snide public scolding (who appointed you to be my Grandma?). I'll be careful not to share any more information that could possibly have been previously written without my knowlege.

I guess cause your new here you have no clue as to who you are dumping on! Seahorse is one of the moderators who donates countless hours of his own time and is always one of the first to help out by sharing his expertise and wisdom.
You should have done a little reading before that comment. That said, welcome aboard.

He dumped first. I was only trying to post some info I thought would be of help, and didn't notice that some other soul had posted similar info. For that his highness is authorized to go into Forum Police mode?

I know he is a regular here, and on other boards. Good for him for being very helpful. I appreciate that .... really .... but he can hold his public scoldings to himself.

Maybe we should push our legislators to license internet usage. How anyone could read the above quote as a bash against them is way, way beyond me.

Welcome aboard Hans . Please don't take these posts the wrong way. It is hard to convey the true meaning of posts sometimes, just by how they were written.
