    synthetic lower unit oil

Just replaced the lower unit lube from non synthetic to synthetic in my 93 Intruder. Any problems with doing so before I head out with it? Also what is the best spark plug to run in it?

No issues at all & do not run any spark plugs in that lower unit.

    OK, Rusty, here goes!!!!!

You can run either the factory recommended plug or Rusty's suggestion, either one will work in your motor. Just for giggles and grins, try the QL78YC plugs gapped at .030", then try the QL77JC4's with the same gap. See which one works better for you. Hey, plugs are cheap.

    Rusty,

OK then, why not run the QL77JC4's iin the stb. bank, and the QL78YC's in the port bank!!!

Then after a test run, change the plugs to the opposite bank and see if there is a difference in drivability!!!!!
