Loaded question... too many variables there...... depending on rates around where you are, what all you have done and what is found when they tear it down....but I would say from 1500 to 3500 ......

I've been looking to get my 2000 115 Ficht rebuilt. Here's one of the places I've come up with:

I've always found it better to get a good local tech to do it. If you have problems, they're close and can repair more than just the powerhead.

Been there - locals want $5,000+ for a rebuild.

Damn, is the block shot???? If it's a normal rebuild then I don't see it, if it's a trashed block then that's a good price!!

'Got the 5k number from the 3 closest shops. It still runs but there's zero compression in #1. No signs of trauma to the case. Can you recommend someone in SC or GA?

It isn't in SC or GA, but come 1.5 hours north into NC and Greg Clark can give you a better price than that. Just come straight up I-26. Phone 828-658-3055.

He is a certified Master Tech with Johnson/Evinrude. He has close to 20 years in the bussiness.

Here is a link to his site:

    Re: (Bassmeister)

I've already been in touch w/ Championman...' told me he only works on carbed models. Durn.

    How's this for a reply?

Yes, we could make arrangements to rebuild your 2000 115 Ficht powerhead. The cost would be $2600 + tax, but we do not offer any warranty on a Ficht powerhead.

    Re: (THE WITCHDOCTOR)

I guess I hijacked the thread. The original post from tfb577 was a 150, I'm the Ficht. Sorry about the confusion...
