I have a '04 Johnson 150 and I was told that the only differance in the two motors were the electronics. Is it possiable to upgrade to the 175 by changinging the electronics? I looked on the johnson web site and the bore&stroke and the displacement are the same on the two. Thanks for any help.
No. It goes a bit further than that.The electronics are the same.
Quite a bit further - 6 carburetors and a block!

O.K what about 150 to 175 ficht year 2000 .I heard that you can change mapping and make it a 175is that true?
