2008 pt 190tx - no cracks here
had one crack on one of the ribs in the back, had it welded and has been perfect ever since
2011 Pro Team 190 with 115 PRO XS. Took it through some big waves and I figured if it was gonna leak it would be from that. No cracks so far.
No cracks and I beat the snot out of mine. I had my ecu reflashed and flywheel lightened and run it on a 6in jackplate. I even went airborne enough to open the front compartments before slamming back down.
2006 pro team 175 when it was new waiting to be unloaded off the truck the boat above it feel and caught the corner of my boat. Tracker warrantied the hull and haven't had a drop of water in it yet.
Tracker sells more aluminum boats than any other company. Common sense would lead most the believe this would result in more issues being reported, if quality is held constant between manufacturers.
I've got my 2nd Tracker, it's a 2011 PT175. The 1st was a 2004 PT165 that I sold to a good friend who fishes out of it pretty regular. Neither boat has had any crack problems. Did you get bored and decide to try and start another Tracker bashing thread?![]()
NO actually I said nothing about bashing tracker I was just curious as to how many people have trackers and have any frame welds or hull splits . as for being bored hell yea I am I don't have my boat
I own a 06 Pt190 90 Opti which gets a lot of use and I also bought at the same time a pt175 75 4stroke. the PT190 has been nothing but problems and the Pt175 has had a few but it don't get much use.
I have had my 2011 Pro Team 175 with 60hp Merc for almost a year. I've smacked some nice size waves on the Tidal Potomac and no problems yet.
2000 Pro Team 185. Have had it for 5 years now, no cracks. Great boat!
I like the boat it fishes well and rides not bad for a tin, but if you read my other post and all the problems I have had and so far tracker has done a whole lot of nothing but toss me some bandaids .
Also I wouldn't calling it bashing its more like calling it as I see it (or own it in my case )I'm living the dream man ! what can I say other then what I tell tracker when I call " I have 250 hours on my boat and I have more time pulling it to the dealer then what I have on the motor " guess it doesn't help dealer is 3 hours from me .
I have a Tournament V-18 and took it on lake ontario and smashed it hard on some big swells...so far so good.
I run a 2008 PT175 with a 60hp Merc, the boat has seen it all and still does not leak a drop. I will stand behind my boat.
I guess I wasn't that lucky on my 02'...I've never beat on mine and has always been garaged but, have had numerous problems with broken welds, cracked hull and am still dealing with some at this point.
Guess I got a lemon but, seeing all the other posts....I am not the only one. Time to look elsewhere at other brands.
The boats are not that bad IMHO...it's the backing of their product.

I run an OLD (1979) Fisher that I believe at that time was owned by tracker. It sure looks like that era tracker. When I pulled the floor to redo it last spring the center braces were all stress cracked. I chalked up to being really old, but it might be design related.
I fished a 99 PT175 all over Sam Rayburn for 6 years.... Never had a single crack or issue and I had it out in water that nobody had any business being in on several occasions. It was definitely a solid little boat.
