    Light Pillar

    I've read about Light Pillars but never saw one until last week. The setting sun reflects against ice crystals in the clouds, forming a pillar of light. I pulled off the road to click this camera pic. You get some idea of how high this was by comparing it to the electric tower in the foreground.
