Go to the back of the creeks, be prepared to fish dirty water, lots of boats, take a number and wait.........![]()
Spinnerbaits and tubes for me. I've been fishing clear water at damn end. May not be the place to be but better than fighting for a spot in the creeks. If windy try jerkbaits too. Fish on tubes have been coming out of around 15 to 20 foot.
Thanks we are going to Holiday Hills.
Bass are on the Beds. put your big motor in gear and use your troling motor to steer the boat and go down the bank only looking for big fish on the beds. Here is a video we shot on sight fishing Norfork http://www.markgoines.com/shows/northfork.html

Except for one thing.... I didn't see the part where he does this in 30mph wind like we been having, that would impress me......![]()

30 mph wind makes it tuff but I have been sight fishing the first hour or two in the morning before the wind kicks in.
If we get all the rain they say, I will be happy and doing some of that too. Gotta love that high water......

Life is made up of years that mean nothing, and moments that mean it all!!!!!!!!
I must be half blind.
I have trouble finding them again to get em outa the livewell.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........
fished two days and never saw one fish on the bed. The fish we caught were in 20 to 30 feet of water or on the jump.
fished again yesterday and didn't see one fish on the bed. What part of the lake you fishing?
Henderson hwy 62 bridge area. All of the beds are in deep water now unfortunately. There are also many beds in the back of the Henderson park cove.Norfork lake is up over 8ft now since Thursday and has come up 3 ft since Sunday morning. They have 4 gates open now at the dam.
Caught a bunch of fish friday on a KVD square bill in the creeks. Saturday it cooled down still caught some deep on worms and shinners, then Saturday evening and Sunday morning caught some nice stripers schooling around Sand Island. The lake came up a bunch Sunday moring![]()
I just drove past Henderson park campground and the water is rising into the campground.Someone has a unattended trailer and if they don't move it fast it will be in the water, the water is already up to the tires.
Lake is at 571, 29 ft over this morning, major trash floating everywhere, I'm not taking my boat out there, it's just a turrible thing.
OK, so my math ain't to good, 19 ft over not 29, but it is still a bunch, just right..........
