    Trailer mods

While the ice and snow is on the roads I'm thinking about doing some mods to my trailer. I'm thinking about putting larger wheels (16"s or 17"s) and going with a lower profile tire to try and keep the overall dia. about the same.

Also thinking about lowering my stainless steel fenders to give the trailer a lower look over the larger dia wheels.

Then; change out the carpet thats currently on the running boards to polished aluminum diamond plate.

Maybe by then it'll be spring and I can hit the lake instead of shoveling the white stuff

If you drop your fenders make sure your tires fit inside the edge of the fender so it doesn't get cut when you hit a bump...JMO

    Re: Trailer mods (Cooney)

Thats good advice. I'll have to cut the inner fender well bunks down as well, but I'm planning to recarpet everything anyway. I'll post some pics when I get it done. Also going to add the swing-away tongue and do away with the slip-in.

    Thanks for the advice!
