When your motor has been sitting 2 days to 2 weeks how long does it take to start the first time you turn the key?
Not long, mine has always fired right up no matter how long its sat or how cold it is.
I have a 2000 225Vmax and it starts as soon as Ibump the key, everytime no matter how long it sets.
No first start of the day 2 to 3 seconds the rest of the day fires instantly. What could cause this?
Mine may crank a second or two before it fires the first time. The rest if the day it is a turn key start. Is it really taking up to three seconds? What have you done for maintenance? A full check of filters, Tps, fuel lines, O2 sensor, plugs, etc. is probably in order.
