Broke a rod today..

Abu Garcia Verdict snapped swinging a fish in the boat. I have to send it back cause its under warranty. Anyone know were I can get a tube to send the rod?

get used to sendin them back i broke 2 on fish . both broke in the same place.

If it came from cabelas they will exchange it no problem! If it came from bps they a pain in the ass! I couldn't find my ticket on a 500 dollar loomis cabelas was great! Had ticket bps 250 falcon they were royal pains!

Don't feel bad about Breaking one! Last two months gloomis NRC broke reel seat, loomis imx broke tip, falcon cara snapped, dobyns snapped

Verdict is the $129 rod. Bought at toledo tackle. Broke at 4th eye from tip

same place both mine broke . they should swap it over the counter if itis less than 6 months old

I used poster boards wrapped in the brown paper a couple of times. Worked fine.

Just roll the the poster boards around the rods and tape it closed.

I sent a rod back and bought some 1 1/2" PVC pipe with caps on each end. Also stuff a coupled sheets of newpaper in the ends. One things for sure, when you get the new one back you know its safe. Worked great!!!

I did that too but falcon sent mine back in a cardboard tube instead of my pvc tube!
