Atchafalaya Spillway???

Can anyone tell me how's the fishing in the Atch Spillway this week? I fished there last week and it was pretty good. Just wondering if its getin a lil better or not.....Thanks

Fished Sat. and Sun. and it was ok. Lots of short fish with the occasional keeper mixed in (probably 20:1 ratio). Spinnerbaits, cranbaits, and soft plastics. Sat was better than Sun in my opinion.

Thanks man! I went out there last Tuesday. Caugt a few, but like ya said all small So i started fishing sac-a-lait after. The few i caught were on a white/chartreuse spinnerait n a watermelon red brush-hog. I'm thinking about going tomorrow......Thanks again dude!

Fishing has been real good in the basin. This fall should be real good.

I usually launch at the public launch @ Belle River. But sorry something came up n I can't make it out there today. but maybe next week.
