I am looking at a 2000 17 foot javlin and a 18 foot javelin the 17 foot has a johnson 115 on it and the 18 footer has the 150 faststrike johnson on it . I think thry are both 2000 model boats ( the mighe be 1999 model boats. the boats are very clean. but i am concerned about the johnson engines can any one give me some info on both engines ( both have carberaters on them )
any help would be great
I would be all over the 150 f/s as opposed to the 115, depends on the money ya want to spend. The F/s are great motors and ya can't go wrong with either. Check either motor's history and your wants and needs in an motor and go from there! JMHO

Either would be a good choice, Great motors with no history of problems.
Oh yea they got some probs!!! Can't believe ya didn't tell him!!! Them motors don't wanna quit running!!!!!!
