Re: Next Prop test??? (BARRY J)

    Barry,

What props do you have for your boat? I got two you can try, a worked SRX 27 and a stock SRX 29. The 27 would probably scream on your boat. It is worked for an Allison but also ran great on a 20' Bullet too. They are both small shaft props.

    Re: Next Prop test??? (timmaahh12)

give me a chance to get the MAZZINELLI rehubbed. and i will bring it, for those with Fat shaft lower units. I also have a 28 BC Chopper( flo-torque), 25 TXP( flo-torque), and a 28P mazco RE4( small shaft).

MAZZINELLI=26P Mazco RE4 with a spinelli cut/ ET cut on it. Suppose to be the best running fishing prop on my boat from the previous owner.

    I have a worked Yamaha 29P T1, a box stock 29P Tempest Plus, and a worked 25P High 5.

    Mike,

If a Hydro Quad IV XOB didn't work for you, I don't think any worked Bravo's will either. Everything I've heard is the XOB's are usually slightly faster than a worked Bravo. But hey, I've got 2 worked Bravo's you're more than welcome to try.

Re: Next Prop test??? (Jeff La)

rocketman, that's kinda what I was thinking. I guess I thought I'd give the Bravo a chance. I would imagine that with enough re-profiling of the blades, the Bravo could be made to work. Then, I could have all the advantages of the 4-blade but retain top speed. I loved the way the Hydro launched with no fuss and handled, but it lost 4 mph on top.
