2004 150 four stroke max rpm

I have an 04 150 four stroke on a stratos 285 pro xl.I get about 50 mph at about 6000rpm and I still have a lot of room to run but don't want to blow her up so can I go over 6000 rpm safely or is that the max?I'm guessing that the prop thats on the boat helps it get out of the hole faster at the expense of top end.So am I stuck at 50 mph unless I change the prop?Thanks

The F150 computer will rev-limit the engine at 6150.
