The recall was to add a bolt and washer to the existing handle, the lock that keeps the twist grip on was not seated correctly and could come off, the handle does not need to be replaced.
Hi All, Does BRP post any recall info at their siteor do they notify the customer directly? I have a 05' 60HP Tiller purchased in late summer. Just curious. Thx.
There were I believe only a handfull of the new handles out when they cought the problem. They are the new ones with the large shift handle up front and the trim switch in the end of the twist grip.
BRP will notify all customers with the affected handles.
Hi All, How long has the new tiller been on the market and which P/N BRP has assigned to it? I purchased a 05' 60 E-tec, delivery of the tiller kit was the biggest issue for my dealer. If the new unit had PT control on the handle then I'm interested in upgrading. Thx. Happy New Year everyone.
