I remember years ago before he shut his restuarant down. It was a few miles from my home. Went eat there alot as a kid with my parents. He would always come sit at our table for a bit and talk fishing with my dad. He is a super nice guy.

That was when I fished with him , drew him and fished out of his little cajun special with the tunnel cut in it. He brought me to places in the spillway I never seen before or since .

KD is a heck of a guy, good fisherman too. I made two shows with him this past year, one in Des Allamands, and one in Cataouachie. We had a ball, laughed the whole time.

No he had a 10# stringer fo 2nd and there was a 19# stringer with a 6# lunker in the bag. We didn't weight our fish but had 8-9#'s.

Chef KD is a heck of a nice guy. Seems like every boat/sportsman show I go to he comes up and talks with us and is super nice. I have never eaten his food but it looks good also!
