Fiberglass Repair

Was out tinkering around in the boat today thinking about putting a new keel guard on and found a big scrape on the bottom pretty much through the gel coat. Any recommendations on where to take in NE KS? Already had a few other nicks, so might as well get her cleaned up. Guess that's what insurance is for.

might be a bit far for you to travel, but Justin at Shaddy Creek,El Dorado; did mine after a run in with a rock, cost was reasonable.

Second Justin at Shady Creek. He did the just about the entire bottom on my boat and did a awesome job! I have heard good things about Truman Fiberglass as well.

Its not in KS but Todd at Shoerline Fiberglass does good work... he is in Smithville.

Truman is good..they redid my transom, and everything was exactly right! 15 miles east of Harrisonville on Hwy 7.

Thx guys. El Dorado might be a little further than I would like, but Smithville is about as far and I had heard good things about them. Ran across Lakeside marine in Topeka and noticed they do it too. Anyone heard anything about them? Would be nice to go to a place like that to have everything checked over on the engine before spring if they do good work. Warranty ends in March.

Smithville is 65 miles from you and Eldorado is 135. I had Todd's crew work on my boat and they did a great job,

I'll be giving you a call around late Feb. to early March. I have some nice scratches and chips I need fixed. Been wanting to have some fiberglass work done but didn't know who to go to. I trust ya, plus I live in Hutch now so I'm not that far away.

Todd does good work and he is also a bass fisherman. Great guy to work with,
