    A question for yamahatech

    I have a 2000 225 V-Max . Is their a way I can check my T.P.S without takeing my motor to a mechanic ?

    Yes you can, but you will have to pierce the wires which we dont suggest. I am working on the same motor right now so I will give you the correct volt values and wire colors to test after lunch.

    The voltage should be 0.48 at closed throttle and 5.25 at WOT. Test between the orange and pink wires.
