    2004 Yamaha HPDI 150 V-6

Hi I'm looking at upgrading my 96 Stratos with this 2004 never used Yamaha. Currently I have a 150 Envirude and I'm looking to know what the cost would be in changing the controls, oil tank and such and did this year have any problems.

    Model #: VZ150TLRC; Serial #: 6J9 L 10044238; model year: 2004

    Thanks for your assistance

    Changing oil tank: No Problem
" controls: Not too bad, just take your time
" Gauges: No Problem. (Your tach may work, but not your trim gauge)

I did the same with a Mariner I had on the back of my Cat. I bought a brand new 2004 200 HPDI. Make sure you take it to a Yammy mechanic and have them check
it out completely. My fuel pump in the VST was gooed up, I guess they run them at the factory when built, and that gas was sitting in there fo 5 years, they had to replce that pump, I did get a full warranty with the motor, so it was covered.
Take it to a dealer and have them do the "PDI" on it.

    Good luck
