Ever slept in the back of your pickup for a tournament?

I've been using a tent for a while now. It sure saves money and I always have a parking place.

Hell yeah, that is a lot of fun. Now I sleep in the back of my suburban with a twin size mattress. We take our generators to power the boat chargers. I would rather do that than spend the money for a hotel room.

What a coincidence! WE also have a friend who has a summerhouse on Grand, so no tent then! It's almost like a vacation. Right down the street from Martin's Landing.

I do all the time, but the back of my pickup is a fully equipped camper w/air, stove, shower, bathroom, TV, Microwave, fridge, and wet bar.

Now back in the day, I slept in the back of my 1/2 ton pickup w/a topper on the back.....

at one point & time.......I tried sleeping in the cab of the truck......not very comfortable I might add.....and plays heel rest of the day with aches & pains......Aleeve helps some but never gets rid of it. I tried the tent thing but to no previal any better.................if I travel a longer distance anymore I stay in hotel/motel or I seem to have some BBC friends at some places have stayed in Campers as well as splitting rooms with guys

I now have a Yukon & Air bed to use at the lakes that are closer but is there if I am jsut doign a short weekend of fishing. Cooler full of beer, lunch meats/cheese, canned good & some chips is all I need

Years ago, we used to take the truck to the drive in show, we would throw on some air cushions and fall asleep watching the movies ...
