I know its not SE, but may be worth the drive. Russell Farr here in the Leavenworth / Lansing area is an award winning taxidermist. He has done work for Dennis, Steve and me. I would recommend him to anyone. He has some incredible mounts in his house and truly creates works of art that will look perfect for years. Remember you will want to display your mount proudly for a lifetime, it pays to have it done right. If you can't find a good one down that way let me know and I will get you hooked up with this guy.

    Thanks Bob,
I would like it done closer, but the quality is what really counts. Anyone have a deer done by Bruce Jameson @ Outdoors Indoors in Pittsburgh? He was also recommended to me by someone. I just have never seen any of his mounts.

Bruce does a top-notch job. His shop is right off of the by-pass in Pittsburg. Great guy. Just stop in and take a look. He has a ton of mounts on display. I have had him do a deer, 2 ducks, a goose and a bass. My step-dad also has a number of mounts done by him. Needless to say, you will not be disappointed. The only downside is the turn-around time. If anything, that should tell you how good a guy is.

If you haven't got it done yet, not from from you at Chelsea, OK. Big Horn Taxidermy. He is an award winner. He did my last one and it looks great. Reasonable prices also.
