difference 225/250

Other than the HP rating, what is the actual difference between a 2002 OX66 VMAX 225 HP engine and a 250 HP version? Parts appear to have almost identical part numbers through out.

I have a 99' 225 and after buying a few parts over the years have come to the conclusion its just the dang sticker.21XDC will know for sure because he has a 250 and knows everything.

My 2002 225 Vmax OX66 is fuel injected. I'm not sure what year that changed.

According to hydrotec, the 250 block port timing favors more topend oriented horsepower.
