I have seen the KDWP shows a good crappie bite on Big Hill, anyone know this lake? Its about a two hour drive for me. Just want to know if its worth the time and large amounts of gas money.
Any one tell me where the "go to" spot would be? Never been their before.
most days in the spring and summer, i can sit at a certain spot and catch my limit easily. there are a ton of crappie, however, they are small and every now and then you will get some good ones, its a great crappie lake

Water temp starting to come up, a few more weeks and it should start getting fun.KDWP survey guy said the crappie are starting to turn on and the bass should be not to far behind.I will try to keep you posted.
