torque tab fell off where to get new one

My torque tab for 2002 200hp hpdi fell off this weekend. After it happened I ran it with out even realizing that it had come off. Did not notice it doing anything different didn't even realize it until I was mowing the grass yesterday passed by the boat and noticed something was missing then thought back and about half way through the dy sat. went to go put in gear and heard tapping did it twice and then tilted up motor and didnt see anything so tried again and went fine then tapping was the prop againt it as it was falling off. Does anyone know how much it is and where I can get one I also need to get a water pump rebuild kit.

I've never had one on mine. I plan to buy a plate some day. I have the same motor as yours.

They're about $15 and you can get it at the dealer (p/n 6J9-45371-01-00 ) or West Marine, or order one online from http://www.Boats.net. It also serves as a anti-corrosion anode. Pop that rubber plug directly above it off and make sure the bolt is still in there (12mm). It should be. Use a 3/8" extension and 12mm socket to re-torque it once you get the new one. If you have hydraulic steering you won't feel much difference. When the boat is up on plane that tab is usually out of the water anyway.
