    Fishing Net

OK, I am thinking of buying a new fishing net and after riding as a backseater for year in our local club and personally witnessing 2 nets fly out the back of the boat never to be seen again, I am really putting some thought into net preferences. Does anyone have a preference? I was thinking about a net that floats, but could only find the Ego net which doesn't breakdown for storage.

Does anyone have any ingenious ideas for making your net float so you don't lose it?
    Thanks

Yep have a backseater smart enough to store it properly before you hammer it

But when Denny fishes with me he is the only one that is ever on the using end...therefore storage is part of his net man responsibility.

That net denny lost only cost me $95 and it was only 2 months old

    S T O W M A S T E R ! !

Reason 1- Folds down to fit about anywhere in Boat

Reason 2- Heavy enough it aint gonna "Fly" out of the boat

Reason 3- Telescoping Handle that allows you a very far reach

Reason 4- Net material is pvc coated to keep hooks from tangling up.

One thin I will tell you is they will not float very well if at all. but the nice thing about them is if your done just fold it u[p and toss it under the console..........Any net for that matter has to have some degree of Disapline to put it in the right spot.

as far as the Ego nets.......one of my Fishing Bud's has one up here & is very nice except the Net material is not coated for hooks

Make sure you get a coated net so that the trebles don't gets stuck in them. Rubber nets are okay, but do not glide through the water very easily.

Depends on WHO used it last? Did the Front-Ending Bastage deside to land his own feesh and just toss it in front of his Console half a$$ed?

I do believe the boater that case did stow the net. Also helps to fish with boater that has sense enough to not get the entire boat out of the water jumping waves!!!!
