    Yamaha propshaft question.

I have always run Merc's before and I know I have used a couple "hubbed for Yamaha" props on my Mercs in the past. So, are the shafts the same, or does a prop have to have a Yamaha hub to run it.

You can interchange props. A different thrust washer may be needed.

Jerry, Have you ever run a TR04 on your rig?

I have one up in the attic. It's a "siggy" (has the flo-torque hub and thinner blads, also supposed to be balanced and blueprinted) that's in pristine condition. I think I'm going to let my good friend try it some day, then sell it.
