Does anyone know that correct spark plugs for this engine and the specified gaps. I do not have an owners manual and I want to make sure I get the right ones. Thanks for the help.

You should be able to find a sticker on the inside of the chin cowling that has the sparkplug and gap info on it. But anyway, it takes an NGK BR8HS-10 and you can get them from any Advance Auto or PepBoys for about $1.50 each. The gap is 1mm or .039" and the "-10" suffix on the plug means it's pre-gapped at 1mm for you. Torque the plugs down to 25Nm or 18 ft.lbs. when you re-install them.

I just bought some plugs for my '05 carbed VMax 150 yesterday, I checked the plugs that were in it and bought the same. It had BR7HS-10 plugs in it, whats the difference between the 7's and 8's? I assume its got something to do with the heat range, so which should I be running?
