    Canada Pics

Well here are a few of the 90+ that I took. What beautiful country and super nice people. Wish everyone down here was as nice as those people are up there. Can't wait to go back.

The crew before departing Hays Friday evening...one bottle of whiskey already gone. (Note:No drunk drivers, but some drunk passengers).

Saturday's hunt. Hunted with the farmer's 12 year old son who just passed hunter's safety but had never been bird hunting. Never seen a kid so excited. 78 birds-canadas, snows, and a nice mess of ducks.

Can't hunt on Sundays up there, so this was Monday. Limit of Canadas (40), plus some snows and ducks.

Monday evening we set up the white decoys and used the e-collar to bag 40 snows and some ducks over the decoys.

Tuesday in the pea field. Another great shoot.

Wednesday was probably our best shoot of the week. Smoked a limit of Canadas and one of the little guys had a little something on his leg.

Thursday...more whackage. 4 cranes were an added bonus.

Last hunt of the trip...mostly snows with some canadas and ducks mixed in.

Looks like a nice way to start off the season. That group just gets uglier every year.

When it was all said and done after all the stamps and stuff I think it was around $150 for the license. Seems high, but it was a bargain.

How many cases of shells? 90+ birds has to amount to a pretty healthy pile of empties. Pretty cheap for a hunting trip across state lines let alone out of the country.

I'd say on average we shot 2 cases of shells a piece. We finally emptied the hulls out of the bed of the pickup on Thursday night, it was a pretty impressive pile.

if that would have been me shooting......we would have had to ahve another case just for my accuracy
